I blogged about this...

As a HUGE Justice Society fan, I am desperate for the original team to return, but I have two questions for you:
1) Do you believe DC is bringing the original JSA back? 2) How convinced are you that the writers will use them correctly? edited by radiotto on 2/10/2018 |

Not changing the characters or creating new versions of them a la the Earth 2 series. I'd like their history to be intact somehow. |

In my latest blog post here on CPG, I make the following claim:
Spider-Man's rogues gallery is second only to Batman's rogues gallery
What do you think?

Well, then that is just a DIFFERENT mistake, because it isn't a variant cover, it is an entirely different issue. |

What do you thnk of Marvel's "Fresh Start?"

After going through all the Legacy renumbering stuff last year, Marvel decided it was too complicated, so they're launching a bunch of new #1s.
Is Marvel in danger of alienating their longtime readers?
Here are the details, including the video trailer for what they're calling the Fresh Start initiative:

Scott Snyder - who writes for DC - congratulated the writer of the upcoming Avengers #1 - Jason Aaron - on Twitter. Then Aaron suggested another Justice League vs. Avengers book.
Who else besides me would LOVE to see that again?!?
With both teams in the movies now, their awareness to the average person may be at its peak. The time is right!
Here is the exchange:

Yeah, they did this thing where EVERY version of EVERY person who had been a JLAer or Avenger had at least a cameo during a huge battle. They even got all 30+ of Wasp's costumes in there!
I bought it as a box set that included the behind the scenes material. Quite enjoyable to read all that! edited by radiotto on 3/6/2018 |

Writers of comic movies and buying soon to be key

Draven's point is valid though...the writers and movie execs that greenlight things would know at the pitch which characters are being considered. They could certainly get a jump on the market before any of those ideas become public knowledge.
What am I saying?? People that make comic book movies don't read comic books! (Snarkiness level - 100) |

What are your thoughts on the new DC team The Terrifics? Obviously a call-back to the Fantastic Four.
I like seeing Mr. Terrific lead a team again. And I have always liked Plastic Man & Metamorpho, although can't Metamorpho do pretty much everything that Plas can do?
I would have liked to see Phantom Lady (Sandra Knight) as the "Invisible Woman" of the group instead of a new Phantom Girl.
Here is my blog post about the concept:

There are certain characters I will always buy, like Moon Knight and Justice Society, but I will certainly take a flier on something new.
And just like Ron said at the end of the article, I am also a sucker for a good story. |

How do you get the most out of a con? |

I limited the list to only include those leporine characters that ORIGINATED in comic book. So no Bugs, Roger, Easter, Peter, etc.

Harley Quinn's first official DC appearrance

Everyone know that Harley Quinn's first comic book appearance is in The Batman Adventure #12.
However, that book is out of canon, so shouldn't her first OFFICIAL DC universe appearance be the 1999 one-shot Batman:Harley Quinn?
Check out my CPG blog post about it, and comment below.
