Bingo. There's a picture in that thread way bigger than it should be. I'll track it down smile

We're a small team handling thousands of members, so please forgive delays in communication. We see, read, and react to everything as quickly as we can.

We're working on a more efficient bug reporting system as our Bug Report form is proving ineffective, but if you put something in there, we'll find it.

Yeah, the Display Case is a new feature so what you're asking for doesn't exist yet. We're going to add a feature that lets you pick which 12 you display, but it will always required you to take a picture or do a cover scan to show off your actual book as opposed to the display cover.

We're still working out the kinks and last week the office was abandoned for our annual break, but we're back at it this week and we'll look at some increased spam protection. smile

For right now, only individual. However, adding bulk sales options is a feature we're working on and will have done within a few weeks.

The marketing promotion around the movie has been excellent. I was a big fan of the Valentine's Day romance-comedy trailer

Read that. Just can't believe I have to list every single comic, including what i paid, what market was day of fire and what market is now. You know how long that carp is going to take? Oh well, better get to work. Figure this site will help me print all that

Is your entire collection already entered here? If so, you can export it. You have to export all the publishers individually, but it'll still be quicker than entering them all in yourself again

Requesting a Title Change

The titles used in the price guide are always the titles as shown in the copyright information. Back of the title page, for TPBs. If you look at that, you'll probably see that the title given here is correct. If not, there's an easy way to contact the PG data compilers to make changes when necessary; look around a bit and you'll find it.

^ This is correct. However, we do have a new search feature that allows us to tag books with "common titles" or "common search phrases". So if you have some books you had to dig around for, let me know the search terms you tried to use and the book, and I can fix it so they show up for that search in the future.

Where does CPG get the prices?

All our pricing comes from trusted advisors including stores and volunteer researchers. We get pricing updates directly from a lot of retailers and trusted professional collectors and researchers. The key is that we never react to tiny spikes or individual sales, and only adjust prices when it is clear that trends are sticking around.

A book may be valued at $5, but someone who really likes it could spend $10 just to ensure they secure it. That doesn't make the value $10, it makes it $5 still because most are still paying $5. Only after we see historical evidence that the book is constantly going at $10 do we make that change.

Occasionally we do adjust pricing for major industry news/announcements, but those don't happen all that often.

That being said, if you have evidence that supports your hunch that the book is undervalued, we welcome you to give us what you have and we'll take a look and check with our own sources. In the near future, we will be allowing Gold & silver members to submit this data to us so we can react a little quicker in today's modern world, so stay tuned for that within the next few weeks smile

For the forums and the blog... yeah upset

The CPG data was protected because we have 3 or 4 different failsafes there, but we made the mistake of not doing the same due diligence for the forums and blogs. Won't happen again.

Hmm..... that does indeed appear that they officially titled their TPB series different than the comic series itself. Odd.

Normally, we like to keep the TPBs within the same title as the original comics.... but I think it's right to separate them in this case.

Here's the individual issues, by the way: http://comicspriceguide.com/admin/title/gold-digger/thvx

And I did make the change to update the title. I'm also going to make it so the original Gold Digger series shows up if you search for "The Collected Gold Digger" because I imagine people interested in the TPB would also want to see the original issues.

Now we just need to get those covers updated smile

Thanks for the heads up.
