This must be my first response to a post in a couple of years.
I'm still here, however Im devoting my time to entering issue info into the database.
Its become an obsession. Maybe I have too much time on my hands, maybe its the aspergers but I'm having a blast.
The Mad Magazine data never looked so good. But Im not done yet.... |

I noticed it 24 hours sgo and it remains at 4. Down from 5.
Is it a temporary glitch or have I broken something by submitting too much data? |

I'm unable to add it. After I add the scan the system tells me it's "already in the database".
The first print is there, but I cant see a 2nd print (Nov 1998) anywhere.

Just had a look & saw no Tick that needs approving Mr. Droid.
Did see some ages ago but can't remember if Ben Edlund was one or not, If you could re-submit him then he could be done.
Ive tried to re-submit Ben Edlund but Im told its "already awaiting approval."

Its a two in one deal. Front cover and comic is by Crumb. The Flip side, rear cover and comic is by his wife.
The first print was the same format.

Any of them.
Ben Edlund isn't in the database of creators, so I used the "creator not listed?" tab to add his name.
The auto-respone is that the creator has already been submitted and awaiting approval. Probably because I already submitted the name to the creators list months ago.

An idea for admin: N/A option for comic data.

Sometimes, a category does not require any of the available options to enter the data.
For example: No colorist to be entered as its a black & white book, no cover price to be entered as its a free book, no cover artist required as its a photo cover.
Instances such as these could still be sorted if there were a "not applicable" option.
Does that sound reasonable or possible? |
