8/20/2021 Topic: Issue with verifying comic. Casper0312	Yep, I added this one. And there is polybagged Direct and Newsstand. The Direct Edition price is printed on the polybag, and not in the UPC box. Quite a few places indicated the newsstand edition was not participating in the giveaway, but I found images with it polybagged w/ the cassette. I couldn't get a definite indication of whether there were 2000 issues or just 1000 between the two editions. However, there were auctions with COA for both editions. No overlap was found in those issued numbers. -David
8/22/2021 Topic: Pictures Not Loading Casper0312	I’ve been tracking a bunch of replacement covers I’ve added when verifying. I had about 20 where the image was “stuck” just saying approved. All but about six of them are finally displaying the uploaded cover now. All the covers I’ve added todsy are stuck in Approved placeholder image All variant submissions are still showing as a blank in the thumbnail (no placeholder) and error comes up when trying to access: Clicking on broken image (this is a little different before) yields the same error: Hope this helps, David
8/23/2021 Topic: Plastic or waterproof comic storage boxes Casper0312	I have a pack of the BCW short black plastic boxes. On Amazon, They used to be $99 for the 5-pack, but are up to $130 right now. They snap together nicely too create a sturdy enclosure and I’ve stacked them three high with no issues. I like them because i have limited space so am continually bringing boxes between my apartment and storage room, and they hold up much better than my cardboard boxes, especially when sliding the boxes horizontally on a stack. I do recommend you double check all the seams to make sure they are all snapped in place. If you miss a couple, the box will come apart, inducing extreme panic. Lol
8/26/2021 Topic: Australia Variants as Alt Pub Casper0312	Hi there, there are a good number of the limited Australian Price Variants (1323 issues?) that are listed as Alternate Publisher versions rather than a regular variant. I’ve been adding these Australian Variants slowly over the past month or so which has been fine. However,there there seems to be a flurry of interest in them and lots of these true Australian Price Variants are coming in as variant duplicates of the Alt Pub Version. I’m asking on some guidance on how to manage them. I see a couple of options to deal with these depending on whither the current Alt Pub version can be shifted to be a regular variant version or if it needs to be deleted. An example of this is this ASM Annual #27 ( https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-the/27/tjsqm ) which has a linked Alt Pub Version ( https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-the/27/phurnvw ) and also has a variant submission, which is actually a correct variant. So.. what to do for these? And I am happy to post iinks for the issues I see this already. Thanks as always, David
