10/20/2022 Topic: HULK VS THOR BANNER OF WAR ALPHA #1 MEGACON collectibleshop	you can submit it yourself thru the Report Missing Variant button at the bottom of the listing's variants page. this has been posted tons of times, so it's always a good idea to search first or read some replies to other 'missing variant' posts and for answers to other questions. Here's how to submit it, and CPG prefers it done this way as it gets the request in the admin's que of stuff-to-do faster. You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. You haven't answered previous questions as to why you can't use the Report Missing Variant function, so assume there's a problem with it for you? for some people it just won't accept pics. and please put links to the comics here on CPG when you post, and please don't make separate posts for the same title, thanks. 10/29/2022 Topic: Missing Bugs Bunny #80 Photo collectibleshop	they have the pic, it's just 'broken', as others are in that run. common problem for a while now since they migrated their pic database, so all you can do is report the broken links. this is the series: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/bugs-bunny/rmty note to admins---many of the images in the Verify Data listings are also broken, makes it hard to verify prices, dates, and covers when that happens .
10/29/2022 Topic: Missing...Starsky and Hutch collectibleshop	likely not listed because it's more text than text and images. From ones I saw inside pics of, there's like 1 panel of art, and rest of the page is text, so not an actual comic book in the normal sense. An 'illustrated book' isn't necessarily a comic book, but CPG can decide, but since it's not been listed after all these years, there's probably a reason.
10/29/2022 Topic: Missing...Welcome Back Kotter (1977 Golden Press) collectibleshop	same answer as for the Starsky and Hutch book--more book than comic. Just because mycomicshop lists it doesn't mean it meet the standards for comic books that CPG has. comics.org doesn't list them either.
10/29/2022 Topic: Missing...Fantastic Four Whitman Variants collectibleshop	they're missing a few apparently. if you want to help out and do some of the work yourself, you can submit them using the 'Report Missing Variant' button under the Variants tab for each issue. You can copy pics from comics.org, here's the start of that group in their pic gallery, https://www.comics.org/series/1482/covers/?page=7 , whitman ones are noted. click the pic to get the normal size ones and copy the whitman one. you can use the issue number dropdown on the issue page (top right area) and choose the next one, or just use the gallery page and open them from there. you can't use mycomicshop pics due the watermark. then: Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fantastic-four/179/xkyxo is 179. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, no signatures, no pro-graded ones, and try to make sure they're a published version, not a pre-production pic (like a Previews solicitation often is), as those get changed in production all the time. 10/30/2022 Topic: Missing...Fantastic Four Whitman Variants collectibleshop	CPG relies a great deal on its members to supply missing issues and images, as just keeping up with new issues and prices keeps them busy. They take pricing suggestions, with examples/links, too. Yes, they did start listing newsstand editions, but there's TONS of those to list, so that takes time to hunt down or add ones members submit. Last I heard they were adding the newsstands in alphabetical order by title, dunno how far they've gotten, and members have submitted all kinds of them too. So they're pursuing things as best they can, and will gladly take members submissions/help. You get ranking points for submissions too, not that it's much of a perk, but it gets you in 'better' standing for being a reliable submitter and helps speed up approval when you verify other's submissions. see this thread for more on that: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic12862-approving-data-and-increasing-your-ranking.aspx Whitman comics were not considered very collectible for decades since most if not all are reprints, but now people are going nuts for any variants, be it publisher, price, or cover art, so Whitmans have been riding that train too. They're probably rarer too, and harder to find in higher grade. If you have scans of missing ones, you can submit those either as 'missing image' if they have a listing with no pic (just click on Missing Scan where the image would be), or with the Report Missing Variant choice under the Variants tab on the regular issue listing if it's a missing variant of some kind. here's the scoop on that: .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges of the comic. This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request. comics.org is s good place to get pics that are ready to go. they don't have all the newsstands or Whitmans either, but do have many. so if you add stuff CPG is missing, then you can add it to your collection here faster than waiting for CPG to find them. More people need to do this, as there's tons of issues that need adding, new to old, so it's a huge task. And ones with 'broken' pic links means they have the pic, it's just not connecting to the database. 11/8/2022 Topic: missing series collectibleshop	Hi, it doesn't meet CPG standards for a comic book, as it's just more of a database/info book about the team, with no story. It's just 1 page of a character profile with a facing painting page of the character. CPG usually requires 50% story at least, although they do list the Marvel Universe 'comics', but that may have been before standards were changed.
