We're a small team. We were just as crushed as you guys by the data loss and it's an unfortunate lesson we continue to pay for and learn from. I came across some older comic cleaning out my late uncles basement. I've looked up a couple and man do I wish they were in mint shape because I would be in the money.. is there ano actually picture I can look at that shows the look of a comic as it goes from perfect to the worst.. I hope this isn't a stupid question. I just need a visual in order to say what shape mine are in

We opted to remove the quantity option because most members track all details of each individual issue. For example, you may own 5 copies of Chew #1, but one is a 9.4, one is a 9.2, a 5.0, etc.

This is also important for sales listings because you can have users make offers on each individual copy of your book and they get exactly what the listing says, but if they buy one of 30, the condition is unlikely to have been properly tracked.

We can add quantity back if members think it's useful to do both methods.

Can anyone estimate how much it costs to get comics graded? I heard at one local comic store that it was $25 - $30 PER COMIC. Some of them might be worth that much, but most look like they are only worth $2 - 5 - 10 - 15 each. I want to sell ALL of them.

I also have a hard time viewing other members collections when invited to do so. their collection will show 800 or so comics in their collection for marvel but when I click on the marvel link it shows two titles, then if i click on one of the letters above that I get redirected to this page:

When I click on the "report how you got here" link it just takes me to the "about us" page.

navigating the "guide part of the site has always had a few bugs and glitches but I guess my main point is that this site is supposed to be a price guide first and foremost (at least given it's name) shouldn't the guide be the best part?

I hope I don't come off as too condescending here but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for the link. They do list, but do not give values besides what they are selling. The regular Heavy Metals, along with some special editions, are listed on this site. I just could not find anything with Heavy Metal Presents... Strange, but I guess these may be considered outside the comic range. Just thought that since they had the regulars, they would have these.

Hi! This very helpful! Particularly for users who want an organized, printable list. This great for simple bookkeeping, however if you need your data set up in a format ready for analysis, obviously, this website (which is great!) would need to: (1) Create a differently formatted spreadsheet export (which is difficult or tedious to program if your programming platform is table-based (SQL, Tableau, for example); (2) Each user may want a different export. This can get frustrating is users are picky, and do not understand that websites which are basically online ("back end") databases, in which users can choose variables, execute queries, etc. This website is not built that way.

What I propose: I can create a template FOR PROGRAMMERS (programmers on this type of platform will be able to understand what I mean) to utilize IF you would like to build out an export specifically for analysis and more book keeping. I understand that this poses challenges, as another "export" button may be needed (meaning: updating A LOT of code on the front end).

However, if you are interested in the basic structure and metrics needed to create an export with more practical utility (if you like to work with print outs just know that .csv files can save you quite a bit of time.)

Personally, I have created a macro in excel to recreate the export so that it formats in a way that is more useful for analysis and book keeping.

I can share the macro, but I can't de-bug for everyone. So I'll share the macro, but consider the basic template that I proposed earlier.

I don't have very high-grade Gold or Keys (No 8.5 FF #1). Those are pretty low-to-mid-grade, but some of my stuff's kind of unique. I collect quite a bit of odd-ball stuff - outside of the standard DC and Marvel.

This is one of my favorites in my collection. Again, low-grade. But not something everyone's seen.

Hello,

I have a few issues of a series called Death's head, & a few issues of a series called Dragon's Claws. Both series are published by Marvel, a search on your Website brings up Revolutionary War: Death's Head II - a search for Dragon's Claws brings up no results whatsoever. How would I go about finding these issues to your database, or adding them?
