I have a Near Mint comic that missed getting staples in it. Is this common or does it increase its value ?

I have never heard of a comic coming from the publisher without staples. I am not sure they would let that defect slide.
Back in the 1960's and 1970's is comics were published with staples slightly off from correct location (associated with printing offset - off center). Do you have a picture you can share? Issue number and publisher?

It's uncommon, but it happens. It hurts the value.
