We are constantly updating prices for the site, currently, about 150 books are on the recent value changes. https://comicspriceguide.com/value-changes/ Ask anyone, I will research any book that you think is off (too high or too low). We take that part of our job very seriously.

We looked at one of our competitors yesterday who had a key silver age book at $72,000 raw. We have the book listed at $40,000 graded. That's a huge difference. Based on the market, they are taking some heavy drugs or inflating prices to attract dreamers. There is no external data to support that number.

I am pretty sure we have had this discussion but which should be used for the publish dates? I am validating the publish date for GHOST RIDER: TRAIL OF TEARS #1 (https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/ghost-rider-trail-of-tears/1/tiwumw). User Black Dragon Comics listed the publish date as April 2007 which is validated by the Marvel Wikia (http://marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Ghost_Rider:_Trail_of_Tears_Vol_1_1) but conflicted by the Marvel website (https://www.marvel.com/comics/issue/5944/ghost_rider_trail_of_tears_2007_1) which claims the publish date as Feb. 2007.

Which is to be used in this case (IMO Marvel website)?

It looks like the price has dropped significantly for all 4 variants. Internally we don't have many sales for those issues.

Is it just me or lately having had many offers on here and many sales done I have to ask this questions:

Sellers accept offers but never get back to you or send and payment info
Some sellers accept offers but never send any info over or an invoice then turn you over for not paying??
Sellers listing a book for one price then changing the deal after the offer was accepted or telling that person "I can't find that book" really?
Seller's putting individual books up for sale then they expect you to but the whole run..huh?? Then why are you listing INDIVIDUAL books?
If they have books that are raw 9.4 and it's going for $3 they list in raw as $5 or more???

Since when did any of us expect to get FULL value for ALL of out books so if my collection is worth let's say $1000 and it only has some key books but mostly $2-3 books then they should get the full market price for these books? What planet does this happen in?

I'm gotten plenty of books for lower than book value for COMMON books of course with high end books you might have to give but the lower ends common...

Thanks Ronbatman I've had two sellers that accepted offers and there are in limbo as being accepted and I want to buy them another one said he doesn't come on here alot and gave me his e-mail address that got nowhere why post books if you don't want to sell is this is game to people? If so they really are pathetic

Could be that Mcfarlene owns a part of Image, just like Larson owns part of it too. Savage Dragon is still out and never thought that was good.

There is some comic book called Riptide seems to be very hot right now. I have not even seen it. Most stores that not even seen it.

I recently purchased ASM #140 from Ebay. Upon receipt and close examination it appears the top staple was missing during printing. There are NO holes in the cover or any interior pages where the staple would normally be. The bottom staple is original and very tight at the centerfold. Does this affect grading? Would it vary by more than a point?
