This is the story of how Frank Castle became the Cosmic Ghost Rider. It is about a fool who made a deal with three separate devils. In the last great battle for earth when Earth’s Mightiest Heroes died, Thanos was there. Frank Castle after he was critically hurt said "he would give anything to punish" Thanos. Mephisto heard him, took his soul and made him the Ghost Rider. Since Thanos had killed everyone on the planet there was no one to avenge or punish.

The Frank Castle Ghost Rider rode endlessly through the centuries and rather spectacularly began to lose his already warped mind. Until one day the devourer of worlds, Galactus, came to earth for protection from Thanos. But the only being still in existence on earth was the Ghost Rider. The two agreed to terms, Ghost Rider would become Galactus herald and Galactus would get to eat earth.

Galactus and Cosmic Ghost Rider rode across the cosmos trying to stop the Mad Titan in his deadly quest. They fought for centuries and inspired hope but in the end, Thanos wins. After Thanos kills Galactus, the Cosmic Ghost Rider makes a deal with the Mad Titan to become his black right hand.

In the battle with the Fallen One, Norrin, both Thanos, and the Cosmic Ghost Rider annihilate the Annihilus Horde. The only other being still alive is the Fallen One and now he is worthy to wield Thor’s hammer.
