CPG provides the ComicsPriceGuide.com website and the Comics Price Guide App (collectively referred to as "Services"), offering features such as personal collection management, forums, pricing tools, and more.
These Services are intended for personal use by individual collectors.
Commercial use of these Services requires prior written approval by contacting

Use of and Membership in the Services is void where prohibited. By using the Services, Member represents and warrants that:
- All registration information submitted is truthful and accurate
- Member will maintain the accuracy of such information
- Member is 18 years of age or older
- Use of the Services does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
- All required fields must contain true, accurate, current and complete information.

Fees for Marketplace Transactions:
If CPG introduces a marketplace for buying and selling comics through the Services, the following terms will apply to such transactions:

Transaction Fees: CPG may charge a transaction fee for each completed sale made through the marketplace. The fee amount will be disclosed prior to completing the transaction and will be deducted from the sale proceeds before payment is disbursed to the seller.

Fee Responsibility: The seller is responsible for paying all applicable transaction fees. Buyers are not charged any additional fees by CPG beyond the agreed purchase price unless expressly noted.

No Refunds on Fees: Transaction fees are non-refundable, even if the transaction is later canceled, reversed, or disputed, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Taxes and Compliance: Sellers are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any applicable taxes for sales made through the marketplace. CPG will not be responsible for calculating or handling taxes on behalf of sellers unless explicitly required by law.

Changes to Fees: CPG reserves the right to modify the transaction fee structure at any time. Any changes to fees will be communicated in advance through updates to this Agreement or direct communication in the marketplace platform.

Additional Terms for Mobile App Users:

App Store Compliance: If you download the Comics Price Guide App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you agree to:

Comply with all terms outlined in this Agreement.

Adhere to the Apple App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and Google Play Store Terms of Service, as applicable.

Acknowledge that Apple and Google have no responsibility for maintenance, support, or warranty of the App and its content.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions: Subscriptions or in-app purchases made through the App are processed by the respective app store provider. You agree to the following:

Payments and Billing: All payments are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

Cancellations: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account settings.

Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

Privacy and Permissions: The App may request permissions for certain features, such as:

Camera Access: To scan comic book barcodes or upload images.

Push Notifications: To provide updates, reminders, and other communications.
By granting these permissions, you consent to the App's use of these features as described in the Privacy Policy.

Forums:
The forums provided by CPG are a free benefit to Members. Use of the forums is subject to the guidelines outlined in this Agreement. Members are responsible for ensuring their posts comply with these rules and any applicable laws.

General Guidelines

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use the CPG forums to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise violates any other laws. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you. Although CPG DOES NOT and CANNOT review the messages posted and is NOT responsible for the content of any of these messages, we at CPG reserve the right to delete any post, thread, image, profile, avatar, attachment or signature for any or no reason whatsoever.

Messages posted to CPG’s forums by community members are solely the opinion and responsibility of the person posting the message. Please note that each individual user is responsible for his or her actions on these forums, so please be sure to act appropriately! Members remain solely responsible for the content of their posts, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless, CPG and its agents, successors and assigns, with respect to any claim based upon transmission of message(s).

Members may not post, modify, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information belonging to others without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. It is the policy of CPG to terminate Membership privileges of any Member who infringes on the copyright rights of others upon receipt of prompt notification to CPG by the copyright owner or the copyright owner’s legal agent. Without limiting the foregoing, if a Member believes that work has been copied and posted on the Services in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, they may provide the following information to our Copyright Agent:

Any violations of CPG’s policies will result in immediate post removal, written warnings, board sanctions and/or total suspension from the forums. Member posts that are in violation of CPG’s policy will be removed and the member may be suspended without warning.

Violations include, but are not limited to:

Including another individual’s contact information and/or e-mail address in a post (this includes phone numbers, physical addresses, IP addresses, e-mail addresses, etc.)

Including profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, disruptive or hostile comments, interpersonal disputes, or threats of violence/harm in a post.

Including material (graphic or text) that is obscene, pornographic, or not suitable for a general audience (including sexual references, alcohol or drug discussions, etc.). This may include but is not limited to foul language, sexual references or images, graphic/violent references or images, and drug/alcohol references or images.

Any actions that interfere with site operations (including spam).

Attempting to impersonate CPG staff, site moderators, or other ComicsPriceGuide.com Members.

Encouraging others to violate CPG policies or the CPG Terms of Service Agreement, including the re-posting of suspended topics or threads or the discussion of warning letters, member violations, banned members, or suspended members.

Advertising merchandise, services or commercial Web sites of any kind or posting advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or solicitations. Violations will result in immediate suspension.

Posting e-mail or other electronic communications from private parties. This includes private message conversations, text messages, e-mail, etc.

The use of false registration information or creating multiple accounts for use on CPG’s forums for the purpose of disruption will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts. Only one account is allowed per user, and all other accounts will be permanently suspended.

Reporters, researchers, and third party representatives emailing any members in their official capacity without prior permission.

Posting any copyrighted items without the permission of the copyright owner. This includes posting information from the CPG Online Price Guides or any other copyrighted material.

Avatars / Signatures: CPG allows the use of signatures on the forums (limit of 255 characters). Images used in signatures should not contain any inappropriate content, and are subject to review by site moderators, CPG staff, or the forum administrators. Inappropriate content may include but is not limited to: foul language, sexual references, graphic/violent images, religious images, and drug/alcohol references. Also, as a courtesy to other users, please limit your signature text length to a reasonable number of lines (6 or less), or the signature block may be edited by a moderator or site administrator to an appropriate length. If you have an excessively long signature, you may be asked to make an adjustment. If other questionable topics arise, please note that the moderators and administrators will use their best judgment, and act in the best interests of CPG. Links to commercial sites in your signature is a violation of CPG policy and will result in suspension or termination of your account.

Outside Commercial Links: Posting links that take users outside of the ComicsPriceGuide.com website for commercial purposes is expressly prohibited (unless specifically built into ComicsPriceGuide.com profile pages for example). This includes links to auction sites, marketing sites, MLM sites, and any other retail sites. In addition, threads and posts may not contain links to outside sites, except for the purpose of legitimate hobby discussions, though CPG and its moderators reserve the right to delete questionable posts at any time. Auction spam may result in suspension from the forums and/or ComicsPriceGuide.com.

Identity: CPG reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you. Please remember that you are responsible for your actions on this site, and you could be held accountable should legal action arise.

Moderators: In order to keep the forums safe and friendly for everyone, we have several active moderators and administrators who examine the forums on a daily basis. Most of our moderators have volunteered their time to help, and we appreciate their efforts and hard work. Our moderators work as a team to issue warnings, clean up posts, and issue suspensions, and they work in conjunction with administrators and moderators from CPG. Please keep all posts clean and friendly, and we can all enjoy the safe environment of a fun forum system. Posts / Responses: All forums posts on ComicsPriceGuide.com are the property of CPG. Use of these forums is subject to review by CPG. Users may be removed without notice for any reason, including, but not limited to, vulgar posting, harassing other members and consistent non-constructive criticism. CPG and its services may only be used for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding use of the Services.

Objectionable Content: CPG reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with ComicsPriceGuide.com. CPG may investigate any reported violation of its policies or complaints and take any action that it deems appropriate. Such action may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspension or termination of service, denying access and/or removal of any materials on the site. CPG reserves the right and has absolute discretion, to remove, screen or edit any content that violates these provisions or is otherwise objectionable.

Disclosure of Information: CPG reserves the right to report any activity that it suspects violates any law or regulation to appropriate law enforcement officials, regulators, or other third parties. In addition to the guidelines stated above, here are a few other "common sense" recommendations to help make your forums experience on ComicsPriceGuide.com a pleasurable one.

When dealing with fellow users, please treat them as you would wish to be treated. A little common courtesy goes a long way to making friends and keeping the peace.

Please do not use "hot button" topics in your discussions like religion and politics. Our forums are a place for comic books and comic related collectibles enthusiasts to share experiences and engaging in ’hot button" topics can only lead to trouble. CPG reserves the right to remove "hot button" posts/threads where appropriate.

Be extremely careful with making allegations relating to such things as users selling or buying fake items, accusations of comic trimming, etc. Please remember that it is against the Terms of Service to publish user information, and doing so (especially in cases like this) can possibly result in legal action against you.

Uses of posts: CPG reserves the right to use any submissions, posts, communications or interactions, whether in the form of articles, comments, emails, images, suggested pricing, confirmed sales, checklist information, photos, or other material, without limitation and without further compensation, acknowledgment or payment to the submitter or poster. By submitting or posting any content, Member grants CPG continuous and non-exclusive permission to use, edit, modify, or copy the content submitted.
If a registered Member submits unsolicited suggestions or ideas, Member agrees that CPG shall become the sole owner of such suggestion, idea or intellectual property. Member understands and agrees that no compensation will be provided to them in any manner, and that all claims of compensation are expressly waived.

Copyright Complaints
CPG respects the intellectual property of others and expects users of the Services to do the same. If you believe your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide CPG's designated Copyright Agent with the following information:

Content Usage and Licensing:
By displaying or publishing ("posting") any content, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, profiles, works of authorship, or any other materials (collectively, "Content") on or through the Services, you grant CPG a non-exclusive, fully-paid, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, modify, adapt, translate, publicly perform, publicly display, store, reproduce, transmit, and distribute such Content on and through the Services.
This license will terminate when the Content is removed from the Services. However, CPG may retain residual copies of the Content for backup or legal purposes

Indemnification:
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CPG, its affiliates, employees, directors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

Dispute Resolution:
Disputes arising from the use of the Services, including the App, may be subject to resolution mechanisms provided by Apple or Google for their respective platforms. For disputes outside their jurisdiction, Indiana law governs this Agreement.

Termination:
CPG reserves the right to terminate access to the Services, including the App, at its sole discretion. Additionally, Apple or Google may suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of their platform policies.

Intellectual Property Rights:
All content within the ComicsPriceGuide.com website and App, including text, images, software, and designs, are the property of CPG or its licensors. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability:
CPG is not liable for any damages arising from using the Services, including the App, whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential. Use of the Services is at your own risk.
