Over The Years They Murdered The Stars! Continued from Power Man #30
Luke tries to reason with Piranha Jones and Cockroach Hamilton that the leaking canister will kill them all. Piranha and Cockroach refuse to stop fighting so Power Man has to knock them out quickly.
Luke rushes to the canister that is leaking toxins into the air as the police and Detective Chase arrive on the scene. He tries to cover the leaking canister with his hands but the pink mist continues to rise. Desperate for some solution, Luke begins to pound the canister with his steel fists. The extremely volatile chemical explodes but that explosion changes the properties.
Weakened from the force of the blast Luke is trying to recover when Cockroach beats him with the stock of his shotgun. They take the unconscious Power Man to the penthouse apartment of Piranha.
Meanwhile Detective Chase is battling the armed costume clad commandoes. After the police and Detective Chase apprehend all the commandoes, they talk. Chase believes that they were all saved by Luke Cage and now he’s gone missing.
The next morning Luke Cage wakes up in the Penthouse of Piranha. Piranha suggests that Luke join him in his criminal activities but Luke declines.
At the home of Detective Chase, he is reading his daughter a bed time story and then leaves her room hand in hand with his wife. Once again showing the detective’s ideal life.
In a less than ideal situation Luke Cage is standing on the edge of a piranha pond in Piranha’s Penthouse. Power Man has been working on his bonds until finally he is able to escape. He tosses Cockroach into a wall and destroys his six barrel shotgun. Piranha tackles Luke into the piranha pond and Cockroach closes the roof.
In the fight between Piranha and Luke, Piranha starts bleeding in the tank of tiny terrors called piranhas. Luke pulls him out of the water before he can get attacked.
