This is the third part of a three-part series. At an automobile graveyard south of Los Angeles the Ghost plots his next move against Tony Stark. A few weeks later at a local Burger King a bodybuilder calling himself Flex starts busting up the place. He is trying to convince the patrons to stop eating red meat, lard, and salt by tearing up the restaurant. Iron Man interrupts the fun and easily stops the destruction before the police arrive.

Arriving back at Stark Enterprises, Iron Man asks Rhodey if he’s picked up any bogies in the building. Obviously Tony is still paranoid about the threats made by the Ghost a few weeks ago. Rhodey and Tony haven’t had any success tracking down the Ghost, as each lead dead ends.

At Stark Enterprises Tony is being extremely cautious, Rhodey is armed and all correspondences are being typed. Stark Enterprise line of credit runs out on Friday when payment will be due and Tony doesn’t have the money. Tony has to get investors to buy into the Beta technology by Friday to ensure the solvency of the company.

Friday at noon Tony meets with a group of potential investors to get funding. The meeting is interrupted by the Ghost who takes a shot at Tony. The bullet goes through him because this setup is all a trap with holographic projections.

A fight ensues between Iron Man and the Ghost. Ghost isn’t afraid to endanger lives so he uses people as shields against Iron Man and launches three grenades. Iron Man is able to stop 2 but the third goes off and injures someone.

Ghost disappears, looking for the beta generator. Tony rushes to Rhodey who is guarding the beta generator and tells him to turn it on. The machine creates an electrical field that overloads circuits and makes Ghost reappear. Iron Man explains that the beta generator will overload the Ghost’s circuits if he tries to destroy the machine. The Ghost doesn’t care and goes directly to the machine. The intensity of the focused energy causes the Ghost to melt through the floor.

Although no evidence that the Ghost lived the ordeal, Tony doesn’t think it’s over, because how can you kill a ghost?
