Flashback to the Baltic Sea, a military submarine launches a missile carrying Private Avery who begins transforming into Damage. He is being deployed into Vlatvian because of a nuclear threat. Once on the ground facing the Vlatvian military Damage does what someone named Damage should do.

Present day, Ethan wakes up in a cot wondering what happened. In another room, he hears a news broadcast talking about the monster and destruction he caused as Damage. The voice in his head is trying to convince him to remember what he did but he’s fighting it.

The kindly man who runs the Stable Inn filled in some of the things that Ethan doesn’t remember about where they found him. Ethan goes out into the street and borrows a phone to call his Mom. When she answers, he doesn’t say a word and hangs up. (Sweet Elvis Painting in the background) The young lady who allowed him to use her phone offers Ethan her coffee as well.

In a drone above Atlanta Ethan’s call was tracked and triangulated. In a few minutes, Deadshot has his weapon pointed at Ethan but Ethan tells him to “leave me alone”. Parasite grabs Ethan and tries to drain his power but cannot contain the power and pops. Giganta grabs the newly turned Damage but he pierces her hand and escapes.

On a nearby rooftop Colonel, Jonas is watching the action and cursing Amanda Waller and her team. The rest of the Suicide Squad show up but not for long. In a little over 3 minutes, Damage crushed the entire Suicide Squad. Deadshot notifies Waller about what happened while Harley wonders what they are supposed to do next. The answer from behind them is “run”. Wonder Woman is going to take over from here.
