If you click on your user name in the upper right corner of the site. Then click on "account settings" at the bottom of the drop down. You can put your sales in vacation mode. Everything will disappear from the site until you take it out of vacation mode or delete the listing.

You picked up some great issues. I love that ASM 201 with the pink circles and Punisher and the Venom cover and the early Kingpin cover. Who am I kidding, I love all ASM issues. smile

"Raw" Prices vs. "Graded" Prices

When the site says "graded" comics it doesn't mean books you have graded. Comics Price Guide means books that a third party like CGC or CBCS graded. Those books are encapsulated in hard plastic, have a grade and cannot be read again. Raw books are ones that you've graded and say it's a 7.0 or 8.5 or whatever.

Most books come with staples unless it's a square-bound issue, which is glued. If a regular book that should have staples is missing them or they were removed it isn't a 9.4. It's an incomplete book and worth very, very little.

5. RPerryx2000 - Amazing Spider-Man 669 (vol. 1 issue 181 to vol. 5 49)

6. RonBatman - Batman 520 issues (191-711 vol. 1) Need issue 712 in the first series.

7. Shavagonew - Batman 439 issues (424-713, vol. 2 1-52, vol 3 1-98)

The market determines the selling price. Most of the time the market has peaks and valleys related to price. Something or someone hypes a book as important and collectors race to buy it, driving up the price. After a couple of months when those collectors have bought it, the issue cools off. Unless you're talking about Miles Morales or Peter Parker or Venom, those issues don't ever seem to cool off.

If a book is highly sought after by collectors and rare then anything can happen. 19k for a very low grade means it has to be highly sought after or the seller is "shooting the moon". There's a lot of that going on right now.

Display Case?

The Display case is for showing people your collection. So you have to go into your issues and upload a cover scan. It will sort the most expensive ones.

For example if you have an Amazing Spiderman 100
https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/amazing-spider-man-the/100/yjxrc

Click on the My Collection tab and upload a cover scan with the first button. (green arrow)

I heard that news yesterday as well and wondered about the implications. With an influx of money what could happen?
More employees to grade?
More marketing ideas like signing?
Buying the competition?
Trying to be Mcdonalds' and owning the supply chain. This would be an interesting one because of DC's situation on the manufacturing side. On the other side, they could be interested in websites, price guides, apps, bags/boards, plastic holders, YouTubers. Anything related to comics after the initial sale.
It's fun to think about.

Determining "current" value of comics

This market is really tough to keep up with because things can double in price overnight. That's not an exaggeration. There are added complexities with sales that don't look legitimate. If there is a crazy high sale for something on the same day as a reasonable sale we will filter it out. We don't want sellers artificially inflating the market. We are striving to improve our accuracy every day. If you're in this hobby for the long term we are easily the best most complete option.

I'm vacationing on the beautiful Maine coast this week. So please be patient if I don't answer you immediately. There are several great admins who can and will jump in to help you find or add a book.

Also if you know of a great Comic book shop between Bar Harbor and Portland let me know, maybe I can stop in sometime this week. Anyone else going on vacation somewhere fun?
