Honestly, all 4 of you have incredible runs. It takes dedication to a goal to reach these numbers or these difficult to find Golden Age books. Bravo. |

Gen 13 #2 Variant cover missing from database
RonbatmanAdministrator
|
A couple of things 1. I totally understand the confusion in finding this book if you're looking at the opposite cover. So I did a little editing to the picture to show both covers in a single image. If you have other flip covers that you want this done for, I'll happily change the cover images. It clarifies things and improves the site. win-win
2. Both cover artists can be credited if they were done by different people. We don't favor one over the other.
3. As Collectibleshop mentioned, it isn't a variant because it's the same book Ron |

Updates on values for TMNT (Mirage) and Albedo 2
RonbatmanAdministrator
|
What we are seeing in the market right now is very similar to the speculative bubble of the 90s. Comic Tom or some other expert says this book is hot and then it explodes in value. A book less than a year old shouldn't be going for $400 because it's a spec or sales have gone up 1500%. We were around for the speculation bubble and the industry suffered because of it.
To the specific topic, I will go through the TMNT books and update them. If you're a paying member you can suggest a value change. R |

That's been a minute. I think the old forums died 4 or 5 years ago so there isn't anything left of them. Ruk does still have the biggest collection post going. I just started the longest run post.
You're welcome to create anything else that you remember or what to see. R |

I emailed Earl about a month ago to see how he was doing. This is what he said
"I was a very active admin from 2003 until 2013 and then a less frequent contributor until about 2016. I have not done anything on the site for about 4 years so feel free to remove me as an admin. I enjoyed my years contributing but I don't think it's something I am likely to get back to anytime soon. I wish you all the best as you continue to grow the site."
We gave him a lifetime Gold membership for his years of service and made sure the door was left open for this wonderful human.
The scans are still on the site on the right side of this page https://comicspriceguide.com/new-scans Ron |
