1/16/2021 Topic: Missing Venom #0 - Italian Platinum Edition collectibleshop	ok, misunderstood what it was, as it says Platinum Edition, which usually means variant. Your pic link gives me a 403 error too, and worthpoint is giving me a hard time showing pics then not, but found other pics. So, looked under Marvel Italia as publisher, not there either, and searched All Countries for Venom Platinum and Lethal and other searches for Italy comics, and don't find it under anything so far. So guess they need to add it. I attached a pic that doesn't show the address book on the front like many did, may be better pics out there, don't have more time to look right now. edited by collectibleshop on 1/16/2021

1/19/2021 Topic: Missing Title collectibleshop	looks like they're missing other variants too, according to comics.org. https://www.comics.org/series/63205/covers/ It's faster if you submit them yourself. Take good square-on pics/scans, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges. If you can't, then find them on the net, with no watermarks, and no signatures (comics.org pics are fine). Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant. Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'. You should see a red box titled "! Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants. Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request. Be patient, it may take weeks/months. I've submitted the missing b&w variant for #6B of the 2014/15 series too, it may take a while before it gets added.

1/24/2021 Topic: There was an error verifying the UPC. collectibleshop	I get the same error no matter how I enter it. looked at #2, did it that way with no spaces, didn't work. copied it off GCD and didn't work. tried various spaces in the groups, didn't work. so a glitch to fix it seems.
1/25/2021 Topic: The Defenders collectibleshop	going by comics.org, it appears the Canadian editions are .75, and CPG just hasn't marked that on #128 or 129 and maybe some others. There is a .60 US newsstand edition for those, so if someone feels like submitting them, get the pics from https://www.comics.org/series/2048/covers/?page=6 . I've done a ton of data submissions lately, so kinda burned out for a couple days. In #125 they introduced the New Defenders and kept the title that way till the end at 152, so not much point in making a new entry for that since it's still the same series, and it's noted on #125.
1/26/2021 Topic: Marvels Greatest Comics featuring the Fantastic 4 collectibleshop	it's possibly the killer apostrophe thing. 1st time I tried it with the apostrophe, it came up with nothing. Without it (Marvels) it came up. Then tried again with the apostrophe and it came up. So weird. In the case of apostrophes, leave them out if something doesn't come up. You can also leave the word with the apostrophe out and use just the other words, although that may get tons of results depending on the title. 'Greatest Comics' works fine, not too many results to scroll down. The search engine and title data is not perfect here, and misspelled titles are still being found, but there's SO many variations and easy ways to misspell something or forget an apostrophe, you can understand the mistakes. 1/31/2021 Topic: Back Issues- no cover collectibleshop	In GENERAL (and a google search will get you many opinions and answers to this fairly common question), Overstreet usually says coverless comics are nearly worthless. Even their lowest grade of .5 still mentions having covers, beat as they may be. Now, a rare comic like Action #1 etc, will still fetch a good bit of money coverless if complete and not beat, as people may have original covers to stick on them, or just want as cheap a copy as they can find (and some are now getting individual pages graded and trying to sell them), but those are the exceptions. try doing some searches on that auction site for 'coverless whatever-issues-you-have' for SOLD prices and see what turns up. Amazing Spider-Man #1 may have some value coverless, but probably 90% or more lower than a low grade with cover, but I haven't checked that out. Most 70s-80s mainstream comics are common, so without covers they're pretty worthless to COLLECTORS, but some kid may pay .25 just to read them, but these days most of those are online to read for free.

All that happens is your member rank increases. I recently got to 8, which took a while, and I didn't get any special notifications or money or awards or kudos, and didn't expect any. You get, or should get, your name in the 'people who contributed to this page/comic' pane on the comic's listing, so that's about all the recognition you can expect.
