Yep that'd be the 1, but was hoping to add them here as to have all my comics in the 1 place :-S i have a few Australian ones that aren't listed on this site and was hoping to have them added as to keep track of everything without having to jump between sites :-S

I have recently purchased an inherited collection of about 300-400 comics for $60. I generally have my collection sorted alphabetically except for Green Arrow / black canary series (my favs) which are stored together sorted alphabetically, volume, issue.

Now with this new collection I added 3 new boxes that hasn't been sorted yet but realized that I can't keep adding to the collection and sorting it the way I have without moving issues to new boxes.

Question is how do you sort you growing collection while maintaining order and being able to find things when you want it?

Other than CPG, do you have another program you use? Do you label boxes or use dividers?

LOL.... haven't heard that in a minute... Recently I have started labeling the boxes with a label maker and when they move I update it here. It would be nice to have a Web Service or something to make an app to update only from my phone. The mobile version is just to heavy for a "quick" update.

how do we report mistakes which have already been approved? I noticed that with the prices on some Fitzgerald books (Golden Legacy 1st Print)

I've got 2-3 comics where the book looks great, probably like VF or better, but someone went in and removed all of the ad pages that didn't have story pages attached. I'm giving these a 1.0 - is that too harsh?

I was a gold member for a year, during which time I logged in several hundred comics, still having many left to do. I did forgot to renew my membership and now when i login - it shows me as a bronze member, which i understand. But if i pay for gold again, are my previously logged books going to come back. I would hate to think i just lost all of that work because i was not on top of renewing my membership.

I just checked them out, No. 1 & 9 are wrong...The rest seem fine (sorry if i missed one)

This must be my first response to a post in a couple of years.
I'm still here, however Im devoting my time to entering issue info into the database.
Its become an obsession. Maybe I have too much time on my hands, maybe its the aspergers but I'm having a blast.
The Mad Magazine data never looked so good. But Im not done yet....

I am trying to add variant cover scans, I added the first one but ever time I have tried to ad a scanned image of a comic and I press the Submit Variant Button it goes all the way through uploading gets to the end then says Upload Failed, This would be the first time I have added comics to the database.

My organizing of books are pretty poor. I have tried a few ways of putting my books in order but in the end it is in need redoing all of them. I have some boxes strictly one series in a box, which works if the series only fits into one box. But most series don't fit into one box so then it overflows into another box but then filled by another series. Some boxes is done alphabetically. Some are just labeled as Indy books while some are just the big two, DC and Marvel books. Then there are boxes that are labeled by era's, silver, bronze, and modern books. Then the last two ways they are labeled only by "eBay buys", which later the books get put into the right box and a "fire box" which holds mostly key books that I definitely will get first in case of a fire.
What works for me once may not work another time. I will admit not being organized is cool at times. I never know what is really in a box and have found some nice books I forgot I bought. With 65 boxes and growing, I'm not sure I will ever be fully organized. But I'm fine with that.
