Data Restructuring

Glorkar, That's an interesting idea. We will talk about it.
Collectible, Some things will change with the comic type menu. The type called "Issues" will remain and now include annuals, specials, giant-size, and king-size. The types that are format differences will remain. So there will still be choices for soft cover, hard cover, trades, digest, and treasury size. |

I guess the best way to summarize it is to say, Issues will now include issues, annuals, specials, Giant-size and king-size. Everything else will remain the same. |

I've been thinking about this for a very long time. Studied the values and importance and made this list. I haven't seen anything as specific as this before.

Whenever I write a blog post, I always learn something.
I had no idea that there was a revision to the CCA in 1971 that set the path for the next few years in comics.

As I've said before, what are you doing to drive traffic to your sales? If you have 200 books for sale on a site that has 1.2 million books, how will people notice? Look at Facebook groups that are in your target market. Tell friends who are comic book fans. Give a link to your auctions.

Bronze Age Index and 1976's most valuable comics
RonbatmanAdministrator
|
So far, I've researched seven Top 25 comic books for 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976. Plus, there is a post on Bernie Wrightson's most valuable covers. To keep track of everything, I've made a Bronze Age Index page.
Here is the bizarre year 1976 https://blog.comicspriceguide.com/most-valuable-comics-of-1976-key-issues-first-appearances/
Here is the Bronze Age Index page https://blog.comicspriceguide.com/bronze-age-comic-book-archive-1970-1984/
This is unique content; I did not consult or look at any other Bronze Age list.
Thanks for reading, Ron |

credits for back cover artist?
RonbatmanAdministrator
|
We will not be adding the back cover artist to the details page. There is already enough confusion on the cover penciler vs the cover inker and colorist. This would add another layer of complexity that isn't worth it for the handful of comics with back cover artists. My suggestion is to put it in the issue Facts area |

Quick Question
RonbatmanAdministrator
|
Over the past 7 or 8 weeks I've written the following posts.
25 Most Valuable Comic Books for each year from 1970 to 1977 so far.
Creator Spotlight Posts for - Bernie Wrightson Post - Mike Ploog Post - Len Wein Post
A Bronze Age Archive that has links to all of the yearly posts and creator spotlight posts. Bronze Age Archive
My question is what would you like for me to research next?
Potential options 1. 1978 - keeping the momentum going on the year by year 2. Another Bronze Age creator like Neal Adams, Nick Cardy, Gil Kane, or someone else 3. Some other type of list related to the Bronze Age. Genre related, overall article, style, or ?
If this helps you I want to make this a powerful resource for collectors like you to use and enjoy. I appreciate your input, Ron |
