This revision was mainly for the admins and functions related to their tasks. However, there were small changes made to the member part of the site. The box issue that you're talking about will be fixed soon. If you click the variant button off and then on again, it will show all your variants. But we will be fixing that soon. 7/16/2024 Topic: Change that Caused an Outage Ronbatman Administrator	Yesterday we reset the DNS setting for the website. Whenever you do that, there is a time when everything has to repopulate. Usually a few hours but sometimes up to 24 hours depending on where you are in the world. Because the app is tied to the website, the app was down as well Sorry for the inconvenience, Ron
7/22/2024 Topic: Development Roadmap Ronbatman Administrator	I checked the blog link and it's working fine so I'm not sure about that. Internally we have a 2 year plan that includes all sorts of features and functions. We are currently 6 months into that plan and before the end of the year, everyone will see some of our changes. Since we are constantly bombarded with competitors trying to steal our data (we have twice as many comics as anyone else) we cannot share our development roadmap. If a member would like to suggest a change they are welcome to make a suggestion. Our staff meets every Monday to discuss and update goals. Ron

I tried it on the issue level by editing it and using the toolbar. Can you contact us via email with screenshots so that our developer can try to figure out what is happening? Ron

8/15/2024 Topic: Recent Site Changes Ronbatman Administrator	Behind the scenes, we are making extensive changes for security, speed, and for users. Look at Detective Comics 64 for example. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/detective-comics/64/vjrwn Notice the large scan when you click on the thumbnail. If you add that book to your collection, there is a default grade of Very Good. This is the most likely grade for that age book based on millions of points of data. Notice that the top 4 values are zero because none exist in the CGC census. Notice that all the published dates are complete for Detective. All of these things are stepping stones to our bigger plans with the app and the website. So you won't hear me much on the forums but I'm working hard like all of our admins and staff to improve your experience. Ron
8/19/2024 Topic: Is a raw value higher than graded value a mistake? Ronbatman Administrator	There are definitely times when this sort of thing happens. Typically it occurs when a book is dropping in value. The raw values stay higher for longer while the graded values drop faster. Venom 3 often has this sort of thing.
8/29/2024 Topic: Variants Ronbatman Administrator	When the site was separated into a customer site and an administrative site there was a small change. Free members were no longer given the ability to add variants for approval. That was an accidental change so today it will go back to any member being able to add a new variant. Please do not submit variants to the forums. We are trying to be more efficient with our systems. I understand why you did this while there was a problem, Vesteel. Thanks for your help, Ron
8/29/2024 Topic: Four Color Comics Ronbatman Administrator	For the past 24 years, we have had all of the Four Color issues separated into individual titles like Porky Pig or Donald Duck. There were hundreds of titles that included Four Color issues. As of today, all Four Color issues are in a single title. https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/four-color/pmuw The titles are in the comments for all 1367 books. All dates are filled in and all scans are present. Key issues have been added. In the coming days, we will be working on a special search function for this title since it's unique and difficult for newcomers. If you have a Four Color comic in your collection, it should look much more organized now. We did not delete any issues, we just moved them so your collection total is the same. Ron
9/9/2024 Topic: missing cover scans Ronbatman Administrator	If you added a cover scan of your own, all of those disappeared with an image server issue about 1-1/2 years ago. Because of the fighting we did with them to get user images back, we switched to our own server with backups. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Ron

We make no guarantees about how long it takes to approve or reject a submission since we receive hundreds. Ron
