 What to do?

I've placed bids on books for sale with three different CPG members in the past month only to get no response (even after sending them follow up messages) and the offers expired. I was even able to see that two of the members had been online during the week I made the offer, and yet they still never communicated with me or accepted the offer. This all makes for a very disappointing experience on CPG. Why list books for sale if you don't want to sell them?

 Someone needs to explain to me how this list works. My collection has been valued on CPG at over $90K for the past few years (now just a tick below $100K), and yet I don't see my name on any of these lists. And what exactly is the EEIG & *EEIG certification?

 Hi Ruk,

Thanks for the quick reply and explanation. My comic book collection is an extension of one that I started as a kid in the late 1970s. During the COVID lockdown I did a whole lot of upgrading and expanding. I currently collect all Marvel titles (and their predecessors Atlas & Timely) up until about 1984, the year I stopped collecting comics as a kid and went off to college. I also collect DC war titles pre-1984 as well. I only collect raw books but have purchased a few graded comics and cracked them to add to my collection as needed. Everything has been meticiously self-graded to standards probably a little more stringent than CGC. As of today I have 5,842 titles in my collection at a CPG value of $99,838.39. Would love to have my collection added to your list.

The golden age title "Lawbreakers Always Lose!" (1948-1949, issues #1-10) has the wrong publisher attached to the series.

The database says that it was published by "Crime Bureau Stories", but that is incorrect.

"Lawbreakers Always Lose!" (1948-1949) was in fact published by Timely, and the old Marvel (Timely) logo is clearly visible on the covers from issues 6 through 10.

    Curiously, the Apache Kid (1950-56) https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/apache-kid/siyr is listed as an Atlas title in the CPG database but the indicia publishers are listed as Medalion Publishing Corp. and Canam Publishers Sales Corp. at www.comics.org https://www.comics.org/series/808/

    There seems to be some quirky inconsistencies in the early days of Marvel/Timely/Atlas publications. smile
