Just to add to the print and sales conversation. I looked at the sales data for some DC / Marvel books on my pull list versus some smaller publisher (Image, Valiant) books also on my pull list.
Per Comichron July 2018 Sales data:
Amazing Spider-man #2; 113,944 units sold
Batman #51; 111,549 units sold
Action Comics #1001; 79,327 units sold
Venom #4; 51,914 units sold
Spawn #287; 20,130 units sold
X-O Manowar #17; 8,417 units sold
Bloodshot Salvation #11; 7,593 units sold
The number of units sold for each of these titles is fairly consistent from month to month. Just a quick observation from the sales data shows that titles from smaller publishers like Valiant are not even in the same ball park with respect to sales from the titles put out by DC and Marvel.

I personally am not a fan of every issue having a variant cover. I feel it cheapens the whole gimmick but from a business perspective it makes a lot of sense. And yes I am guilty of promoting the practice. I remember spending a lot of time and money tracking down the gold and vvs variants of Valiant comics from the early 90s. I also got the Stanley Lau variant covers for Catwoman 2,3, and 4. |

I'll try not to spoil the story but the short answer is that Booster does not get killed. Booster wants to get Batman a wedding gift and his "gift" leads to an alternate timeline that is reverted to the original timeline at the end of the story. |

Thanks for getting these issues added.
I am also going to request that all of the Halloween Comicfest books are added as well. Last I checked neither the Hellboy or Jughead the Hunger issues were added yet. |
