By the way
March 14 is the 17th year I have done this
I have no idea why I have spent 17 years doing this
Must be insane
But truth be told -I like the communication-
I love collectables-
I save stamps- and art as well-
a genuine love of collecting
I have met some of you at conventions or some have flown in to see my collection
and I really appreciate the inter-reaction
PS-I even like the site and even the people who run the site (altho after 17 years I sd get something)

I am really touched by your kind words
As I get older I am getting so much sadness as friends and childhood acquaintances get ill or pass to the next realm.
so hearing appreciation is really heartfelt
as I have said I have a long term day job that can be a challenge
so spending time sorting and analyzing comics-or stamps -or art -is a great source of pleasure
I know that when I come to sell my comics the good ones will be bid up
but the bulk will be hard to sell
But for me that is not important
Finding the allusive issue I am missing-even if not graded-lacking a cover -who cares
I even cherish some covers I own without comics attached-
they are very old-
very rare-
great art-
all fine by me
I like trying to get hard to find stuff-even if no one else wants them
and making a full run of stamps or comics is a delight for me
so to all my friends out there
