The Age of Apocalypse Sent on a mission by Magneto to Avalon to locate Destiny and verify a possible alternate timeline, Kurt Darkholme aka Nightcrawler is aided and accompanied by his mother Raven Darkholme aka Mystique. They are followed to Avalon by Apocalypse's soldiers Deadpool and Damask, who then attack Avalon, forcing Kurt and Raven to bring Destiny back to the X-Men and take the fight to Apocalypse.
