Slithe and Jackalman drive a herd of unicorn into the Forest of Silence, on hearing this, the Thundercats go in to retrieve them. To save time, they split up, unfortunately, this makes it easier for the mutants to trap all of them, and deliver them to Mumm-Ra.
Snarf, the only Thundercat not to go to the Forest of Silence, finds out that the Thundercats are being held at Mumm-Ra’s pyramid. With the help of his animal friends, he breaks into the pyramid while Mumm-Ra is sleeping, and frees Lion-o, giving him the Sword of Omens. Mumm-Ra wakes up, transforms into Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living, but is defeated by seeing his reflection in the Sword of Omens.
