The Snow GIANT Loki sends an endless mountain of snow falling over New York using his Crystal of Transference when Karnilla visits him. They conspire to get the Plague Cask and use it to overthrow Odin. They send the Snow Giant to Earth to destroy Thor, but Karnilla betrays Loki. Loki reluctantly seeks Thor's help and defeats Karnilla, smashing the Crystal in the process, finally causing the snow to stop.
