 This Battleground Earth!
Thor, Sif, and Balder are in the office of Donald Blake, figuring out a plan to stop the Enchanters from attempting to take over Asgard for their own, when they are interrupted by the Living Talisman. Before it can attack, Thor manages to dispatch it by throwing his hammer through the energy construct. They then meet up with Magnir and Brona, two of the Enchanters that have come to Earth to prevent the three Gods from interfering with their plan.

As they battle on Earth, in far-away Asgard, Forsung -- the remaining Enchanter -- unleashes the Living Talisman in Odin's throne room. The creature can fight off Odin's guards until it takes a blast from Odin's Sceptre of Power. With the Living Talisman seemingly destroyed, Forsung appears before Odin and challenges the All-Father to a fight to determine who is the rightful ruler of Asgard.

Back on Earth, Thor, Balder, and Sif begin their battle against Magnir and Brona. However, the two Enchanters cause the ground beneath Balder and Sif to break open and then raise a part of the ground into space so they can fight and overpower Thor without interference. The two villains' superior mystical abilities and the power to change their forms to other elements give them an edge against Thor, forcing him to remain on the defensive.

Meanwhile, in Asgard, Odin and Forsung prepare for their battle, both grabbing hold of the Sceptre of Power. The two shoot off into the sky in a cosmic tug-of-war that causes massive destruction in their wake. Back on Earth, Thor manages to fight off Magnir and Brona. Because Forsung required as much power as possible to battle Odin, the power of both Magnir and Brona weakened, sending the floating piece of pavement they had been battling on to lower back down to the Earth.

There, Balder and Sif rejoin the fight, where they aid Thor in quickly defeating the two Enchanters. With their enemies defeated, they realize the horror that may arise should Odin lose his battle against Forsung, and Thor suggests that they all return to Asgard to learn the battle's outcome.
