The funeral for a fallen Hulkbuster is held, and there is tension between Banner's party and his old allies.

Meanwhile, having been recently defeated at the hands of the West Coast Avengers (West Coast Avengers #12), the electrical menace known as Zzzax is brought to Gamma Base.

Banner is kept under observation by Samson and SHIELD, who fear he will revert to the Hulk once again. Sure enough, the Hulk appears to bust out of Gamma Base, and SHIELD gives chase. When they eventually do find Banner, they also find a new Hulk, who grabs Bruce and takes off...
