The End Of The Fantastic Four! The Fantastic Four and Wyatt Wingfoot have been defeated by Annihilus in the Negative Zone. He takes the defeated heroes to his base of operations where they find that Annihilus has kidnapped Susan, Franklin and Agatha Harkness. Annihilus explains how he intends to use Reed's son Franklin's limitless power for his own ends before locking up the FF in a cell.
While Alicia Masters takes a plane to Europe, the FF break out of their cell in Annihilus' fortress. As they fight off the creatures on this Negative Zone planet, Annihilus uses his cosmic control rod to boost Franklin's powers.
The FF finally fight off all the creatures and make their way back into Annihilus' control room. When Ben knocks Annihilus out, Reed, Johnny and Medusa free Sue, Franklin and Agatha Harkness. Agatha transports them back to the Baxter Building on Earth. There Reed notices that Franklin's powers are going out of control and risk destroying everyone. Reed does one of the hardest things he's ever done in his life: Use one of his own inventions to shut Franklin's mind down. When Sue realizes what Reed has done and she is mortified. The rest of the Fantastic Four are equally disturbed by this, and they all part company, the Thing proclaiming that the Fantastic Four are over.
