ANOTHER KIND OF JUSTICE In 1933, prohibition-era Gotham City had trouble stopping booze smuggler Turk Bannon and his boat the Jolly Marie. His partner Achille Lazlo has been taken under Bannon's wing, however after their most successful rum-running, Lazlo kills Bannon in a bid to take over his rackets.
Flash forward to the 1970's, Commission Gordon has Batman out searching the waters of Gotham City in order to crush the drug combines that are using Dead Man's Reef to smuggle drugs into the city. After a drug bust, Batman decides it's time to take in it's dealer: Achille Lazlo, even though Batman drove him into exile years prior.
Tracking Achille Lazlo's location, Batman calls in an old friend: Deadman, to help him out on this case. Having Deadman possess various members and associates to either act as though they are possessed by Turk Bannon, or out right accuse Lazlo of killing Bannon and claiming to be there.
Aboard the San Marino, a derelict ship that is used for drug dealings. Lazlo is called to task over these accusations over Turk's murder. Deadman possesses one of the bodies of Lazlo's associates who makes an "admission" that Lazlo killed Bannon. When the mobsters try to eliminate Lazlo, he escapes in the Jolly Marie. As Batman rounds up the drug dealers, Lazlo's gets shipwrecked and dies out at sea. Later, Batman thanks Deadman for his assistance.
