Anti-Bullying One-Shot Some of the many types of bullying are held to the light in fourt short stories.
In "Straight Shooter" Hawkeye reminds the team that even they are not free from the taint of bullying, as he is constantly being ridiculed. Naturally, it is Haweye's skills that save the day.
Then the Guardians of the Galaxy help an alien child respond to peer pressure in "Quotient".
No super-hero has more experience in being bullyed than Spider-Man, and in "Friends on the Web" he frees a youngster duct-taped to the flagpole (no, really!) and teaches him that bullying the bully is not the answer.
Finally, in "Weird" the message is that it's OK to be thought weird, and if you don't hide your individual weirdness, you might even find some who shares your weirdness.
It's all wrapped up with a letter from Fred Lewis noting that, although these stories required the talents of 4 writers, 4 artists, and 3 colorists, Travis Lanham deserves praise for lettering the entire book! A bit ironic, since in the Lee/Kirby/Ditko era, letterers Sam Rosen and Artie Simak were teased mercilessly in the credits.
