He instructs Mysterio and Hobgoblin to steal a sample of Burundite, an antidote to his poison, currently on loan to ESU. Peter and MJ quarrel after the funeral; the spat observed by someone tailing them. At ESU, Spidey intrudes on Mysterio and Hobgoblin's theft. Mysterio doses some students with an hallucinogen that makes them see Spidey as a thug attacking an old woman. As they rush him, Mysterio and Hobgoblin escape with the Burundite. Elsewhere, muggers attack Felicia and Flash. When Flash fights them off. Felicia realizes no one ever stood up for her before. Vulture & Sandman fend off Spider-Man and steal the Coast Guard's tank-like amphib unit. Meanwhile, Jonathon Caesar plans to kidnap Mary Jane. Spidey battles Electro who has stolen a portfolio. Although, Ock's hover jet whisks Electro away, Spidey snags part of the portfolio's contents: a Cordco security schematic. With everything coming together, Ock reflects on disposing of his allies before putting his true plan into effect.
