Cheers Mercy’s burlesque show ends to cheers while Lucy watches with his water. After the show, Mercy goes to Lucy with two drinks and gives him one. Lucy’s girlfriend and Mercy’s boyfriend are both absent. When things look like they might get interesting Les and one of his men show up. Since Lucy has a fight the next day, he excuses himself.
Les continues to give Mercy compliments and says that he wants to show her something. Les takes her in a limo to his casino, the Royal. They take her to a room to show her a model of the new Mercy Theatre. Les continues to push her, encouraging her to leave her mother’s casino and come dance at his casino. She leaves without giving a firm answer on anything.
Mercy arrives back at the Piggy Bank in time to see Stanley win a little from a slot machine. Betsy tells Stanley and Sticky good night and grimly says that she needs to have a mother-daughter chat with Mercy.
Stanley and Sticky arrive at a church to scout out the competition. After the church service, they go back to the taco truck and Stanley explains his new philosophy, the Full Redford. Which is doing something crappy for money and then doing something really good, like helping Betsy with the Piggy Bank Casino?
The next day, Mercy goes to Lucy’s garage but Audrey tries to turn her away. Mercy came to apologize for Les, Lucy says, “it’s cool” while he throws up in a bucket.
That night at the fight, Stanley is getting beaten down by his opponent until the 8th round. Stanley was trying to wear out his opponent and then he knocked him out.
Lucy’s fight isn’t as favorable. Still feeling the effects of last night Lucy isn't fighting well, plus his opponent is in a higher weight class, apparently set up by Les. Stanley cheers for his son but he still loses in a decision. When Stanley tries to help his son, Lucy screams at him. Betsy seems to think that Mercy has fallen for Lucy because he’s broken.
