 Song Of The Man-Thing 
The Man-Thing is seemingly killed by an nemesis older than him, "The Scrier", who wants to control the Nexus! Reformed and alive he chooses Spider-Man to be his champion to fight for the universes against "The Outrider". Spider-Man enters the Nexus and falls into several versions of what his life could have been in different time lines.
Strangely pages 3-5 resemble the 9/11 attack a full 2 years before the actual attack!
