Origin 2 James Howlett, the man called Logan and who would one day be called Wolverine, left a life of privilege behind when he discovered ha was born with bone claws and superhuman senses.
Logan had befriended a pack of wolves in the woods. One day, a polar bear wandered down from the mountains and slaughtered the wolves. Logan gave into his feral nature and slaughtered the polar bear, launching rumors to the townsfolk of man-like beast in the woods.
These rumors attracted the attention of many, including the sinister Dr. Essex, a gentleman scientist. The cruel doctor attempted to force Logan from his forest sanctuary, only to have him escape-but not before Essex could see with his own eyes what he'd dreamed of capturing for so long: an actual mutant, a human born with superhuman abilities.
Meanwhile, another group has tracked Logan, one led by Hugo Haversham, who has his own designs for Logan. With the help of his crew-including the tracker, Victor Creed and the kindhearted animal handler Clara-Hugo found and captured Logan.
