The Omega Rangers continue their attack on Zedd's Moon Base. When confronted by the Omega Rangers, Zedd begins to grow until Jason calls in his Zord to defeat Zedd. The Power Rangers arrive just as the Omega Rangers imprison Zedd in a space dumpster. Kiya sees Tommy and initially mistakes him for Lord Drakkon and has to be restrained. They take Zedd away while Jason talks to Zordon. Zordon says that while grateful for the Omega Rangers' assistance, he worries that a new, stronger evil will replace Zedd. Jason and Tommy have a brief talk about leadership, in which Tommy voices some doubts he has about being a leader. Finster, Goldar, Squatt, and Baboo are hiding out in a cannery and are contemplating their next course of action. Goldar convinces them to instead focus on destoying the Power Rangers, and shows that he recovered Zedd's staff.
Kiya speaks to the Blue Emissary, and tells of her worry regarding Tommy. The Emissary tries to convince her of Tommy's goodness, but she kills him and then releases Garrison Vox and Cavotus. She dubs their group "The Anointed" and says their goal is no more Power Rangers.
