Returning to the site where he was ambushed by a Born Macabre last issue, T'Challa again encounters Macabre and his servants. He finds a secret passageway under Wakanda and also confronts the eerie "King Cadaver". After defeating all of his opponents, T'Challa discovers that there is an underground legion of enemy forces gathering underneath Wakanda!

The 1st page includes Jack Kirby's original Black Panther costume design. Back in those days, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby originally called him...Coal Tiger.
The 2nd page is a pin-up of Erik Killmonger by Rich Buckler and Klaus Janson. It is the original portrait Don and Klaus worked out long before the Panther's first appearance in Jungle Action.
