Thor guides a pilot-less plane to a landing on Fifth Avenue while the rest of the Avengers try to help. Quasar the cosmic guardian is contacted by Epoch.

Doctor Strange is reached by someone from a different plane of existence, who says he needs to lead the fight against Thanos. He opens his soul to Strange to prove that he isn’t an enemy.

Doctor Doom is picking up reading of intense power from Thanos and from the home of Stephen Strange. Seeing an opportunity to grab power and learn something Dr. Doom proceeds to Dr. Strange’s home.

Eros is tracking the huge disappearance of people and concludes that it has to be Thanos. In an instant, Eros evaporates from Titan and appears in front of Thanos. Eros understands that he is in a difficult situation surrounded by Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, Mistress Death, and Mephisto. In an effort to free himself he uses his emotion manipulating power on Thanos which he easily resists and gives Eros a mouth-less face.

Captain America updates the Avengers on all the missing superheroes.

Odin convenes a meeting of all the sky-fathers, who are different gods from different cultures around the world.

Pip the Troll is having a party of one while he waits for Adam Warlock’s cocoon to open. When it explodes open, Pip isn’t too thrilled about going after Thanos.

At the home of Dr. Strange, Dr. Doom has captured Stephen Strange and stands over Silver Surfer. Doom demands as only the supreme ruler of Latvia can, that Dr. Strange tell him what is happening. They are interrupted by the dramatic entrance of Adam Warlock. (and Pip) Adam was the person who contacted Strange and he demands to be the leader because he understands the gems secrets.

At the monument to death, Thanos is torturing his family but Lady Death isn’t impressed. He tries other bizarre improvisations on his brother but Death doesn’t crack a smile. In anger, Thanos sends out a shockwave reverberating across the universe.

Galactus sees and understands the threat that Thanos presents but knows that he doesn’t have the power to beat him. He decides to form a plan that includes strategic alliances.

Back on Earth, earthquakes devastate cities, the western coast of the United States drops into the sea. Asgard suffers from a similar and equally devastating earthquake, trapping all the residents of Asgard. On the other coast of the US, a tsunami destroys Atlantic City. The world is suffering a cataclysmic catastrophe and the remaining superheroes need to help.
