Commanding the Roman Sesterce, Athenian Stater, Tetradrachm of Syracuse and the man-bull of Gela to help him commit crimes, he gains the attention of Green Lantern who tries to stop these creatures and Cullen.

Knocked out, Green Lantern is taken into his own power ring, where it turns out this was all a ploy orchistrated by Myrwhydden, who wanted revenge against Hal. However, Hal anticipated some form of outside power playing a role in the events and switched bodies with the Roman Sesterce. When Myrwhydden's guard is down, Hal knocks him out and uses the horn Myrwhydden was using to control the coin creatures to make them turn Cullen over to the police and return where they came. Hal then uses his power ring to erase Myrwhydden's memories before leaving the world in his power ring.
