BLASTAAR, The Living BOMB-BURST! Blastaar and the Sandman team up to terrorize New York City, Reed sends Thing and Triton to try and distract them while he comes up with a device to stop Blastaar. During the fight, Triton is injured and is taken back to the Baxter Building for healing, while Johnny and Crystal join the fight. Sandman, while fighting with the Thing, rolls off into New York harbor in sand-form and dissipates in the water. While Johnny and Crystal are beaten back by Blastaar, Reed arrives and manages to place a special helmet on Blastaar head, incapacitating him. With the battle over, Reed has the group prepare to return to base where he will send Blastaar back to the Negative Zone.
