Waverider looks into Batman’s future again, only to see him locked in a final battle with Ras Al Ghul. Ras ends up dying and the Batman is left bloodied and broken. While he’s out of commission, rumour of Batman’s death surfaces. In order to stem the rise in crime, Robin takes up the mantle of the Bat.
