The Frost Giants Daughter After being separated from the rest of his party during a battle with the Aesir Conan comes across the most beautiful woman hes ever seen. Beckoning to him Conan follows but the mystery woman always stays one step ahead of him, constantly taunting him. Blind with anger he follows the woman into an dead end where a pair of frost trolls ambush him. After a brutal battle in which Conan defeats the two trolls he moves to grab the woman but just as hes within reach she cries to her father Ymir and disappears into thin air. Afterwards, confused and disorientated, Conan passes out in the snow. He is awoken by his missing comrades who had been searching for him for some time; Conan tells them of his experiences and at first they scoff at him and tell him it is a young mans fable, but after looking at the shroud Conan pulled off the young woman they are speechless.
