Death Of A Daredevil Batman witness the abduction of Al Dayre, a true "Daredevil" perfomer and he investigates his mysterious disappearance. Learning that the responsible for Dayre's abduction is a wealthy man who wants to prevent Dayre from performing on his next stunt, Batman decides to take Dayre's place in the event and later he goes looking for the man. Eventually, Batman learns that Dayre and the kidnapper are in cahoots and that they planned the "kidnapping" since the beginning in order to cash in some ransom money. Batman captures them and finally learns that Dayre didn't make the stunt, despite knowing that it would give him much more money than the ransom, because he was afraid!
