Troubled Waters Batgirl is called to the Burnside Y. Batgirl and Kayla P are investigating a ghost in the swimming pool. During a senior aerobics session, a mysterious ‘ghost’ shows up in the water. No signs of the ghost until the infant swim, when the ghost shows up again. Batgirl contacts a friend who directs her to a chemist, Analyn Ku. Analyn analyzes the water sample from the pool and declares it safe and quite normal. It is suggested that she speak to Professor Radden.
As Babs Gordon, she does some research and remember she met Professor Radden. Radden was working on a process to teleport via water (Hydrodynamic Teleportation). Babs finds that Radden’s assistant, Liana Soto, has been missing. Come to find out that his assistant is actually the one who discovered the teleportation capabilities. She disappeared shortly before Radden’s paper was published.
Batgirl finds some information at Soto’s apartment. She gathers a group of people to form a circle in the water to see if they can capture the ghost and possibly make her come back to being a human being. The circle is broken, through the camera that is the water Batgirl tosses toward the ghost which allows it to see. Soto returns, but somehow absorbed the camera.
Barbara gets a job for Liam Soto to work at Gordon Clean Energy. Professor Radden is arrested and charged with aggravated teleportation.
