Frenzy On The Fortieth Floor! Ka-Zar shows up at Kraven's Hotel, demanding to see him so that he can recover Zabu, his saber-toothed tiger. Kraven meets him in the lobby, and ensnares him in a bolo net. Ka-Zar feigns unconsciousness, then follows Kraven to his room. They battle in the hotel room, out the window, and onto the balcony of a nearby building. Ka-Zar injures Kraven's hand, who flees to fight another day. Upon returning to Kraven's room, to free Zabu, Ka-Zar meets the Petrified Man, who states that he must return to the Savage Land
Revolution! * 1ST APPEARANCE "FACELESS ONE"
Prince Rudolfo the disposed ruler of Latveria manages to escape from his cell. Dr. Doom confronts the "prince" and reveals that he knows that he did not capture the true prince but a robot duplicate, however before he can learn much about Rudolfo's plans, an over protective Doombot destroys the Rudolfo robot. In a secret cave, the real Rudolfo continues his plot to over throw Doom and retake his kingdom, and has gotten the aid of an alien creature known as the Faceless One.
Meanwhile, the free Doomsman wanders the Latverian countryside and enters into a neighboring nation. There the Doomsman is attacked by that countries armies, however the Doomsman destroys the attacking tanks with the greatest of ease. It is confronted by the Faceless One and Rudolfo who take it in and convince it to join their ranks.
Meanwhile back at Castle Doom, Dr. Doom lets Ramona free so that he can search for his missing Doomsman. Seeing a holstered weapon, she contemplates killing Dr. Doom, but realizes that over anything else, she cannot become a killer. Rudolfo's resistance army is armed with laser weapons from the Faceless One and are sent to attack Dr. Doom's castle.
While Dr. Doom is busy repelling his attackers, the Faceless One flies his spheroid ship into Castle Doom with the Doomsman. Realizing this, Dr. Doom returns to his castle to fight off the Faceless One, who has been led into the castle by Ramona. Battling Doom one-on-one, the Faceless One admits that he is using Rudolfo's resistance army to achieve his own ends. With the two equally matched, the Faceless One commands the Doomsman to enter and slay his creator.
