Previously in Age of Ultron... Years ago, founding Avenger, Henry Pym, invented the artificial intelligence known as Ultron. Once Ultron became sentient, he dedicated his existence to destroying humanity. The Avengers foiled his every attempt, but some predicted that with his continuous evolution, Ultron would one day overcome his foes. That day has come. Many died. The heroes left standing discovered Ultron was orchestrating the decimation from the future. They convened in the Savage Land, where Nick Fury had assembled a plethora of weaponry and tools, including Doctor Doom's time platform. A small group travelled into the future to take on Ultron. Wolverine stayed behind to execute his own plan: Go back in time to sanction Hank Pym before Ultron could be created.
