Meanwhile, Inga, who met and fell in love with Cleve when Hill's Circus played in Russia, confesses that she fears Communist spies are after her to get to her father, a great scientist who vanished shortly after they met. Minutes later, Kronsky appears at the circus, and Inga exclaims that he is her father.
