From Riches To Rags! synopsis for "From Riches to Rags"
Superman falls under a strange compulsion to take on various roles while performing his duties. He stops a crime while acting as a rich man, pretends to be poor to elicit government support for a slum project, captures two thieves while dressed as an indian chief, impersonates an attorney to stop a killer, and fakes an operation on Clark Kent acting as a doctor.
Superman then warns the FBI that he will commit a theft. Agents set up a Kryptonite trap, but Superman outwits them by stealing the Kryptonite. After disposing of the Green K, Superman returns and offers an explanation. He explains that the compulsion was caused by a nursery rhyme: "rich man, poor man, beggar man, thief, doctor, lawyer, indian chief". As a child a Kryptonian comet appeared in the sky while he was saying the rhyme. A hypnotic effect caused him to assume the roles when the comet reappeared.

Supergirl is testing a new female spacesuit and an experimental spacecraft for the U. S. Government when her ship gets caught by a space warp and flung into an unknown solar system revolving around a green sun which nullifies Supergirl's powers.
After crash-landing in planet Lumal, Supergirl finds out that world is inhabited by a humanoid race which is oppressed by another raced called the Evil-Eyed People. Kara saves a family from getting their cottage burned down by an Evil-Eyed tax collector, and in gratitude for her kindness they tell her where she can find radioactive mineral to repair her ship, as well as giving her a map, supplies and local currency.
Despite being depowered, Supergirl fights her way through the dangerous surface of Lumal and reaches the entrance to the Evil-Eyed People's subterranean realm. With help of a Lumalian ant-like race, Supergirl seals their realm's entrance to stop them from enslaving the surface races. Kara finally reaches the radioactive deposites, repairs her ship and leaves.
Back on Solar System, Kara checks on Lumal with her telescopic vision. Supergirl thinks the people of Lumal will never guess about her powers, but to her surprise, the way she improvised her way to victory caused the Lumalians think she has super-powers.
