I'd have to check my copy, but I might actually agree with Jayc13. It should not be a variant of Strange Academy 1 if it contains a different story. If it's a reprint of #3, then it really should be listed as a variant there, regardless of the issue number on the cover.

when you find out what the indicia calls it, post that, cuz that's what CPG uses of course. they may be able to add a note to the listing about it reprinting #3 and maybe cross-list it under #3 also.

ok, thanks. as has been noted by CPG a bunch of times, they go by the title in the indicia, so that's the way it is.

if you haven't seen the announcement about the new FCBD listings, see this post: https://comicspriceguide.com/forum/topic17875-free-comic-book-day-issues.aspx#post40097
maybe they'll do the same for true believers issues eventually too.

If they are going by the indicia on this one, then it should be a standalone listing, as the title is listed as "Strange Academy No. 1 Halloween Trick-Or-Read 2022". It explicitly states that it's a one-shot that reprints #3.

They've changed the listing and added 'trick or read 2022 #1' to the title and added the 'reprints issue #3' note, and did that for some of the others if you search just 'trick or read', but there's a few that still need the change:

according to previewsworld, it JUST shipped to shops May 2, so give CPG 5 minutes to list it. they have hundreds of weekly books to scan and list, it takes a few days to get thru them all, and that's IF they get them in person.

the correct title, as likely noted inside, is Universe X Sketchbook. it's here: https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/universe-x-sketchbook/nn_special/pmqxiv
try using 'all types' in the Comic Type box for these type things.

your pic goes to a pre-production image, so attached the production images of the A & B covers for CPG to use, if they didn't get the comics yet for some reason.
Cover B artist is Kibar.

Black Knights of Steel 1- Tyler Kirkham Variant

I've submitted that one, the other Kirkham one, and 4 more variants just now, so eventually they'll get added.
for future reference, you can submit missing variants yourself, here's how:
Get a good square-on scan, .jpg format preferred, cropped to the edges of the comic. If you can't, then find them on the net (comics.org is a good resource), with no watermarks, no signatures, no pro-graded ones, and try to make sure they're a published version, not a pre-production pic (like a Previews solicitation often is), as those get changed in production all the time. Best to resize them if you can to about 350-400px wide, but CPG can do that too. Use the "Report Missing Variant" function found in the listings for individual books. You must be logged in to do this.
Navigate to the specific book that is missing a variant.
Select the 'Variants' tab found next to 'Values'.
You should see a red box titled "Report Missing Variants" on the right side below any listed variants.
Clicking the box will bring up a page where you can upload the pic and enter information specific to the variant you are reporting (not all is required). This includes what it's called, price, artist, publication date, etc. This makes it much faster for the admins to process the request.
and now you know something you didn't, no charge smile

SPIDER-MAN 2 (FCBD 2023) #1

collectibleshop
yes, it was an FCBD book, as per bleedingcool etc: https://bleedingcool.com/comics/runescape-free-comic-book-day-2023-20-on-ebay-spider-man-2-is-35/ . "The Spider-Man 2 #1 comic from Marvel and Sony, part of the Marvel Gamerverse with the first appearance of The Hood was spottily distributed to comic stores at the last minute, leaving many stores and customers bereft. Which is why it has sold for $35 already, despite being free in comic book stores yesterday."

Marvel's site calls the Hood a new supervillain too. Blurb from Marvel's FCBD page on the plot: "On top of all that, there’s a new gang in town, and they appear to be using…magic? Our heroes work together to track down and confront members of this gang, using their super powers to uncover the gang’s leader: The Hood! This new Super Villain appears to have supernatural abilities that defy mere webs and fists. While Miles, Peter, and MJ attempt to balance their responsibilities to the city, and each other, they keep coming back to one of the main themes of this action-packed issue: is magic real?"
so not sure if it's the same The Hood from the 2002 series, although both say he has supernatural/magical powers. dunno if his name is Parker Robbins in the FCBD issue. 2002 was forever ago in the world of 'let's change everything and start over again' the comic companies have been doing, so maybe Marvel considers this 'new Hood' the new Hood for the current universe. time will tell.
