It wouldn't have a letter. That's just how it's broken down in price guides. Is it the correct art on the cover scan though? Does that match your book? https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/fathom/12C/phrsjr edited by glorkar on 6/14/2021 |

The link I posted is for the holofoil one (it just doesn't look shiny in the picture). Not sure about the barcode / direct sales. I can't find a single copy online that has that. Might need to post a picture after all. |

Hmm. On my full reply screen, I have an orange button on the bottom left of the text box. Clicking that expands the "Add Attachments" section. You should then be able to click the "Choose File" button to find your picture. There may be a file size limit. So if you have a really large, detailed picture, you may need to resize it. I know for cover scans they like them around 500kb. I just open my pics up in paint, then resize them. It shows the file size at the bottom of the screen. So if I didn't shrink it enough, I undo, use a smaller percent, then save again until I'm good. Might be worth a shot. |

Butcher Knight Preview #1

I just picked up a copy of the Butcher Knight Preview: (https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/butcher-knight/1G/rktxjp)
This is listed as a variant of #1 (https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/butcher-knight/1/phuvjq). And while it is a preview of that title, it isn't a true variant. It only contains about half the book, is in black and white and does not have all of the text. I really think this should be it's own listing.
And of course there's the indicia: "Butcher Knight Preview Vol. 1, #1, 2000" |

So there's a page in the book that shows the email sent by Walter to Ryan. For the heck of it, I sent a message to Ryan's email. Turns out, it didn't exist. Super surprising that Tynion printed a gmail address but didn't actually claim it first. Well, guess who scooped that one up? That's right, this guy, lol.
And I guess I wasn't the only curious one either. Someone else sent a message. Think I'll play along for a bit before letting on that I'm just a fan too. |

I was reading my Planet Size X-Men and got to wondering about the symbols. I knew it was an alphabet of some sort. I remembered seeing them in some other issues too.
I was able to decipher about a third of them on my own, then hit up the interwebs. Turns out it was already given to us in House of X #3. So if you're curious what all that gibberish at the end of an X book says, here you go:

SIKTC coming to Netflix

It's early days, but this is from James Tynion's latest newsletter:
"One big secret I’ve been keeping since pretty early this year is that Mike Flanagan and Trevor Macy are developing SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN for Netflix. Hollywood is a very strange animal, one I’m figuring out slowly but surely. I’ve got a lot of things moving over there in various shapes and sizes. Some I’m more involved with than others, but I’ve been having a bunch of very very exciting conversations (which I get the sense is the majority of what happens in Hollywood – You have exciting conversations, and maybe just maybe at the end of all of those conversations you have a TV show or Movie!). I can’t say much more on this front other than cross your fingers… I have a pilot script in hand that is deeply respectful of the source material and bad-ass in its own right, and I desperately want to see it on screen. You can find out a little bit more (but not MUCH more) here: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/doctor-sleep-filmmakers-trevor-macy-mike-flanagan-adapting-boom-studios-something-is-killing-the-children-comic-netflix-exclusive-1234979681/"
The low number books are already crazy expensive. I wonder if this is going to give them another bump now that it's more than just optioned / speculation? |

It's coming up pretty quick now. Saturday, August 14th. I've never actually been to one, so I'm looking forward to it.
So what books are you most looking forward to?
I've got my eyes on: Enter The House of Slaughter (a SIKTC spinoff? Yes please.) Lady Mechanika (I've got all of the previous ones, so might as well keep it going, lol) Avengers / Hulk (Avenger Prime?) Amazing Spider-Man / Venom Solo Leveling White Ash
Should be some good reads out of that bunch.

Should be on the front or back cover. It will also be printed inside the comic on what is called the indicia. That is the copyright notification typically found on the first page or the page with the artists names. |

And it's not that CPG /doesn't/ list Kickstarter comics. It's just that they have such a limited print run with limited member ownership that they fall to the very bottom of the priority list. Or is my thinking wrong on that? I'd be curious on the sketchbook ruling too. There are quite a few listed. Another good example is the Marvel Knights Sketchbook (https://comicspriceguide.com/titles/marvel-knights-sketchbook/1/phvpmr) |

Sorry, new to the site and just missed that.
No worries. Honestly, this one turned out to be more complicated than I thought at first glance. I should have invested a little more time in looking at the the issues you were asking about before giving you what amounts to a hand slap. |

Free Comic Book Day titles always seem to be pretty terrible to find imo. There just doesn't seem to be any consistency. For example:
Stray Dogs (Values of Stray Dogs | ComicsPriceGuide.com | Free Comic Book Price Guide) is done well. You go to the title, there's a fcbd tab.
Spider-Man / Venom 2019: Values of Spider-Man / Venom | ComicsPriceGuide.com | Free Comic Book Price Guide 2020: Values of Spider-Man/Venom | ComicsPriceGuide.com | Free Comic Book Price Guide 2021: Values of Spider-Man/Venom | ComicsPriceGuide.com | Free Comic Book Price Guide
These are all technically the same title, are they not? And yet they are all individually listed as one-shots.
Or Enter The House of Slaughter (Values of Enter The House Of Slaughter | ComicsPriceGuide.com | Free Comic Book Price Guide) is also listed as a one-shot. And while it is right now, it is the start of an ongoing series that just hasn't released yet.
Or Lady Mechanika (Values of Lady Mechanika Fcbd | ComicsPriceGuide.com | Free Comic Book Price Guide) where the FCBD issues are considered their own title. |
