SIKTC #16 Price on value change page

Something is Killing the Children 16 had the price upped to $100 9.4 Raw for the Comiconline version and it's number 1 on the recent value change page but you can still buy it graded at 9.6-9.8 from them for less then that? Am I missing something here? And as I am posting this, it's not sold out.

Book I'm talking about:

Comicconline Graded 9.6 or better for $89.99:

I just watched Jupiter's Legacy's first season and thought it was okay but I just now saw that it has already been canceled. That was quick, especially for Netflix.

Dang. And I actually l liked it.

For a first season I thought it was good. I thought it was a mistake when I first read about it getting canceled. Thankfully there is a ton of stuff to watch. I somehow didn't realize there was a DC Titans show on HBO and there is already two seasons of it. So that's what I just started binge watching.

I have to say, I didn't "see" New Teen Titans as a horror comic when I was reading it in the early 1980's, but Titans makes a great case for that. I hate the theme music, though. And it is in the credits too, so when binge watching, you get like 9 minutes of buuut-dut-duttah-dah-dutt-dut-duddah-dah repeated over and over and... you the picture.

I watch it in the HBO app and just fast forward through it lol. That theme music has got to go. I wish the app would add a skip the previously on portion, intro and title screen automatically.

Wouldn't it be easier to just move all of the fixes to the fixed/added forum category instead of responding to the posts that are years old? When the current users are logging into the forums that normally only have a few real unread topics to read login now, they see all of these responses to stuff that was literally from years ago by some people who probably gave up on it lol or the issue was already fixed way back then.

I am responding for two reasons, 1] not everyone has given up on their posts and not every post is going to be from 5 years ago...I'm not going to discriminate based on how old they are. 2] when it comes to people having trouble finding an issue it is good to have an answer posted in case someone else has the same issue and uses the search forum feature for the answer. You'll just have to bare with the process, I can't help that there was 106 pages of material to go through...I'm down to 90 now and it will get better with time

It's great that you're fixing them, but because of how the forums are set up, none of the people who actually posted the missing or incorrect information are getting a notification that says it has been fixed even if you quote them, as well as if it has been fixed then I don't think anyone else would have that same issue again with the issue that was fixed so they wouldn't be searching the forum for an answer. So posting anything rather than just moving the topic to the fixed thread is just flooding the boards especially for the ones that were already fixed way back when and the topic was just never moved to the fixed thread. Less work for you and less flooding of the boards is all I'm saying.

Cover 1B is showing the same as 1A. It should be the one attached.

I just read this one today and I think DC and James Tynion may have a winner here. I think I like it because I went in not knowing anything about it and it was nothing like what I was expecting from the cover smile Can't wait to see where they go with this one.

Thought it would be cool to get the forums going by starting a topic on what's new in your collection this week. I scored some random number 1's to add to the collection. Nothing crazy but I thought they were a cool addition to the collection. Wiggle

Per the indicia: Gen 13 Yearbook '97
June 1997
Cover shows issue 1, but this a one-shot
UPC: 70985304656100111

Can verify with absolute certainty that it is completely different than the Annual 1. This should get it's own listing either as a stand alone book or under the specials tab. Not sure what the preferred method is these days.

My local LCS has a few cover A's left and Comics Elites. I'm contemplating going there for a few more smile They only allow one per customer per day though so I'd have to keep going daily lol. I wish I'd pre-ordered some of the other variants.

How close are you to finishing the run of tomb of dracula?

Nowhere near as close as I want. upset Prices in today's market make it harder and harder for me to complete my runs. I'm working on ASM pretty much non stop but I still fill in Tomb of Draculas every chance I get. I am starting to find it harder and harder to turn down anything older though so that slows me down on the runs as well Duhh

So there's a page in the book that shows the email sent by Walter to Ryan. For the heck of it, I sent a message to Ryan's email. Turns out, it didn't exist. Super surprising that Tynion printed a gmail address but didn't actually claim it first. Well, guess who scooped that one up? That's right, this guy, lol.

And I guess I wasn't the only curious one either. Someone else sent a message. Think I'll play along for a bit before letting on that I'm just a fan too.

Good Posting
